adopted. told how they got me from the time i was brought home. how they so badly wanted a child, and decided to adopt, and when they went to the baby store, they looked at all of us and fell in love with me! lol
as i grew older the 'store' was changed to the 'orphanage' . but the point is they never ever tried to hide the fact that i was adopted. and that my mother was just too young to care for me, but she loved me enough to give me the best she could - a chance at a family with two parents, and a home filled with love.
my brother told his kids he found them all at wal-mart on the clearance table! lol

My mom got had two others after me... so the whole stork thing wasn't going to convince me. When I was 2 or 4 my mom told me "I just prayed to have a baby". She gave me the talk at 10 or 11.

I was about 10 and quickly forgot all about it until I got my period at age 13. I still didn't quite understand the whole thing even though my mom was quite scientifically accurate about the whole thing....I wish she had been more real...that's why when I was really curious I read the book: Our Bodies Ourselves and own a copy for my kids when they start asking questions...my son is 12 and basically was asking questions awhile ago (8 or 9)...it's different these days because of child abduction....kids want to know why someone would want to steal them, and what is sexual abuse, etc.....and as soon as he asked, I told him the truth as humanly and in words he understands the whole complex mess in small doses and gave him the book to read at his leisure or as more questions came up....

Personally I don't really remember ever wondering. My mom wasn't the kind to make up stories, and since I had younger siblings I always kind of knew they came from my mom, though I never knew about the exact proccess or details of development. It really wasn't a subject that interested me though growing up as kid so I didn't really wonder beyond that.

In middle school (7th-8th grade) they began sex ed in health class in school and that pretty much filled in the blank spots.

My parents were not the "talk to you about it" kind of people but I will be for my son, kids now adays get these ideas pretty early.

I started wondering around the time my mom got pregnant when I was 8. I found out how babys were made when I was in fifth grade two years later.

I dont remember ever wondering where babies came from. I knew they came from mommies with big bellies. Thats all I knew until I was 8 and got 'the talk'.
