im pretty sure all is ok, i am not bleeding or in any pain..and i do see my doc this fri i will speak to him, i want to know from other first moms when you first felt your little one kick.
i know all pregancy varies and i am on the overweight side, i didnt expect to feel anything too soon but im at the halfway mark! i want to feel my little one!
any other moms hit the 20 week mark and yet to feel anything?

I am also overweight, I felt my daughter moving at about 20 weeks, I didn't feel her kick for almost a month after that!!! I was scared that there was something wrong with her! But she was just fine, I think It takes overweight women longer to feel the baby kick, but then again every pregnancy is different!! Congrats, and Good Luck!!!

I felt the fluttering around week 16 but as far as any kicking the good ones didnt really start till I was about 5 and a half 6 months along.

It is very normal to not feel your baby at this point especially since it is your first pregnancy and you are overweight. You will most likely feel your baby move by 24 weeks. Try having a snack or glass of juice and lay on your stomach. The first movements can feel like gas.

I just felt my baby for the first time this week and I'm 15 weeks along. It felt more like a fluttering than a kick though.

I've heard that babies are mostly active when you're sleeping or just laying still. When you're up moving around it can rock the baby to sleep.
Also with first pregnancies it takes longer to feel anything because you don't know what to expect.

You'll feel something in a week or two, dont worry. Its not uncommon for heavier moms to go longer without feeling their babies, its not a sign of issues.

i'm at 19 weeks right now and its hard to feel her move. if i don't concentrate, i don't know she's there...well other than my bell getting bigger.
