Kerrville..it's so nice here with the rolling hills, the Guadalupe, and all the deer.
We also have a lakehouse in Tow Texas on Lake Buchanan..it is beautiful as well. Lake Buchanan is isolated and a great place to get away and relax..while Lake LBJ is better for partying as it attracts a younger crowd.

lake Buchanan is far nicer than LBJ with much less people. I love Marble Falls.the emperor of estacy has never been to the hill country.

Any kind of retriever or herder would be good because it is their natural instinct to do those things, but no matter what, it is something that you will have to teach them to do your way no matter what kind of dog it is. Chows were used for hunting bears in China, and they are quite smart. They love to hunt; I used to have 4 of them, and they were all hunters. Shepherds are very smart herding dogs that need lots of space because they are full of energy. If you get one you MUST work with it or it will do exactly what you do not want it to do like jump on people and go crazy every time it gets excited. My mother has one and she is smart but they don't work with her so she eats everything and is a pest. I personally think that labs are the best because they are highly intelligent, soft mouths that do not damage the game, loyal, and wonderful family pets that have a lot of love to give. I have had many labs and I have NEVER had a problem with any of them. Hope this helps.

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. What may be beautiful to you may be hideous to someone else and vice versa. But opinion wise I like Lake buchanan.

I lived in texas and the words "beautiful and texas " dont belong in the same sentence....godforsaken country....aint worth a plugged nickel....and the people suck to high heaven with their "I'm a TEXAN" attitude......
