On 2/12 I had some break-through bleeding (never happened before).Had intercourse that night.I called my ob/gyn office & was seen last Thurs.2/15 & the Dr. thinks it was some ovulatory bleeding because he saw signs of where I had ovulated.Since last Friday, all I do all day is yawn,my boobs have this heavy, tingling sensation & I have this horrible metallic taste in my mouth.I know it's way to early to test for pregnancy but I've never felt this way before. I've been looking @ all the web sites for early signs of preg. & but don't want to get my hopes up.According to several web sites it'i not uncommon for some women to have signs of preg. @ early as 1-2days of conceiving. If my cycle comes this month @34 days then it would be 2/28. We have no children & have longed for a baby for 12 yrs.Do you think it's possible w/these signs/symptoms,I could finally be pregnant this time around?Need honest, expert advice/opinions because having never been preg.,I'm not sure how I should feel this early.

Hi,
Well, I see from the dates given that you were expecting your period a couple of days ago now. I'm hoping on your behalf that it hasn't come.
Yes, it is definately a possibility that you may be pregnant with the symptoms you described.
I am thinking that the breakthrough bleeding you described could actually be implantation bleeding, which sometimes happens when you have conceived, and the newly fertilised embryo implants itself into the uterine lining. Sometimes it disturbs a little of the lining and shows up as breakthrough bleeding.
This doesn't happen to all women, but is completely normal if it does. I didn't have it myself, but have friends that have had it.
My cycle was always 35 days, with my ovulation on day 29. Certainly not text book, but every womans' body is different.
May I suggest that with your condition, if you have not been fortunate enough to conceive this time, maybe go and see an acupuncturist/ chinese medicine practitioner.
I saw one regularly while trying to conceive, and truly believe that it works for many people with fertility issues.
Anyway, best of luck, hope you are soon to experience the joy of a child.

I had polycystic ovary disease for years before my hysterectomy.
So sorry for you sweety, know how it feels. I did have one pregnancy I could not carry to term. The thing that makes my ears perk up is the metallic taste you are having. I had that too.
Try to remain calm. Women with our history need to do everything exactly right in case of pregnancy. I wish you all the best and would love it if you posted when you find out for sure.
I will be saying a prayer for you.

I too have POD, was told that i would prob not be able to conceive... after 3 years of trying we just stopped(trying so hard) and I got pregnant...
I didnt bleed at all, but i knew i was preggo one week after conceiving.
All the signs your experiencing are signs of pregnancy, its exactly how i felt. BUT they could also be signs of something else so see your Doc soon.
Also i took a preg test at home and it came out + even though it was to"early " to tell..
Best of luck to you and yours!

It is possible as well as probable. The best sign is that you think you are. You know your body best.
