We should not cut it down because every day we kill out 137 species of plants and animals. Also much of our medicine contains things found in the rain forest. It also is estimated that we have tested about 1% of the plants in the rain forest for medicinal use. Also it helps get rid of carbon dioxide which then turns it into 1/6 of the worlds oxygen. I don't think that we can stop the cutting down because the US is one of the 3 countries that keeps many people cutting the rain forest down for the wood. I think that a good solution is to regulate the cutting better, but it is a long ways away.

There are no reasons why we should cut down the rainforest, but ther are many reasons why we should not.... We should not because when all the trees are gone we will go with them. Trees give us oxygen and without oxygen we can not survive.
