The xD picture card is a fujifilm H 512MB. The serial number is written on the back of the packaging you buy it in which was great until i threw it away by mistake. I have contacted fuji but they won't help.

Don't know why you need the serial number - unless you used it as a password :-)
Just nip down to any place where they sell them (Boots maybe ?) and look on the back of another box ...

Gee an extra effectual reason to stay with SD memory enjoying cards. i replaced into now no longer huge conscious the locking function on xD enjoying cards replaced into utility activated and needed the serial style. Yikes! Us previous execs use CF enjoying cards and that they do no longer lock ... era. No reason to lock them. call Olympus ... that they had have a answer to get you out of your project ... or spend $20 and get a clean 2GB card and then think of ofyou've have been given enough space on your photos and a clean serial style too.
