No. I mean, the show is named after her. Either that, or somehow she will still be like a ghost that sticks around, but they can't get rid of her. =]

I don't think she's going to die. They keep showing her flatlining in the preview, so whats the point of watching the episode if she's the one that's going to die? I can watch the commerical and find out the exact same thing.
Also, why does everyone keep saying, "she can't die or else they'll have to change the name." Has anyone ever thought of her mom? Ellis Grey? They share the same last name and she has also been there since episode one. It's not like Meredith is the only 'Grey' on the show.

No i dont think Meredith is going to die because her name is in the title i bet they will but her in a comma or some thing like that

I think there is a great chance that she will flat line and then come back. This seems to be what they are doing on shows right now. While 24 has opened things up to kill of any member of a show its still not main stream to kill off your main character. So no I don't think they will actually kill Meredith off.

No. I heard from a tv critic that "2 people die, but only one of the deaths will 'stick'."
To me, that means Meredith comes back from the Big Sleep, and I'm saying....."Jane Doe" the pregnant smushed face woman dies, much to the great chagrin of...whatever that dude Dr's name is, the one that said "I hate people, I only like patients" or something like that...

well it sure can't be called Grey's Anatomy if she does (why would anyone be concerned with Meredith's Mom's Anatomy?), so i think they are going to bring her back...
i was crying the entire last episode! ahhhh! and when mc. dreamy pulled her from the water! ahhhhh, crying... lol!

who is she but yes she will die and then be reborn again it makes people tune into the show and get the creators of the show more money. Or she will have a twin show up somewhere in the future.

No, if the show was over than she would die on the last episode. Addison is going to die because she is going to have her own show.

I highly doubt they will let her die. Although, it does make for good suspense and drama! I did hear that Addison will leave the show for a spinoff come summertime...
