can any one tell me where the iat sensor is on a 05 nissan altima and what it looks like?

Depending if you have the 4 or 6 cyl, the intake air temperature sensor can be found in one of two locations. Either on the side of the air filter box, or in the rubber snorkle tube that runs from the filter box to the throttle body. It is black plastic, round where it mounts, has two wires connected to it and, when removed, sort of looks like a plastic spark plug.
