I'm a lakers Fan and I'm glad they didn't get Kidd, He's aging 35-ish or so. Still has a lot of talent but the players the Lakers would of given up wouldn't be worth it. Bynum, Mhim, Brown, Evans, Cook and Parker. for Kidd and Collins. It's such a stupid idea. If they went through on the trade the have no low post defender. Besides the Lakers have to many injuries to give up and 3 active players for a guy who isn't even 100%

they didnt get the trade done because Thorn wanted Bynum...Doc offered cash and picks...and made it clear that Kobe, Bynum and one other player were untouchable...it was pretty much understood last night by people in the LA organization and Kidd that he would be in LA... that they dont have a player with Kidds unselfish floor generalship will be the difference in the Lakers going in the early rounds of the playoffs to being a threat late in them...JKs defense ,rebounding, floor vision, and experience in the playoffs would be a plus on any team, especially a team made the way the Lakers are now...

i absolutely like that commerce, can not say I tell that to human beings too regularly utilizing this commerce gadget. The Lakers get a reliable factor shelter to push the velocity and get the ball to Kobe and also Kidd would absolutely make Bynum sensible in L.A. And the Nets get a reliable 3-factor shooter, a really reliable versatile participant in Odom, and then at the same time as trading Kidd would look like backcourt suicide, a Farmar-Marcus Williams blend would not be too undesirable jointly with of Vinsanity. reliable commerce, has skill.

No, he's still in NJ. This trade deadline sucked. The biggest deal was Fred Jones to the blazers. =\
