As a current cheer coach, I deal with this often.
First we have to determine what is causing you to "land wrong". Are you using proper technique? If stunting, is your team spotting you correctly? Do you have weak ankles to begin with?
I wquld definitely keep this ankle wrapped. It sounds as though you may just be over exerting, causing the ankle to "give-out" due to stress on the joints. If this is the case, continue to wrap your ankle for every practice and anytime that you will be involved in a
"impact" scenario.
If your injuries are due to other factors, have your coach watch the stunt to catch any imperfections in technique. This may go a long way in keeping your ankle from getting hurt. I had one girl who landed wrong on her ankle, and blamed herself for the mistake. She had to sit out 2 weeks for the ankle to mend. when she began to stunt again, I made it a point to back spot her (if only to ensure that she was strong enough to do the stunt). It was then that I saw that one of her bases was twisting her torso on dismount. This slight twist was enough to throw the flyer off balance and land incorrectly.
Once we got this under control, she never had trouble with her ankle again.
hope that helps!

Definitely wrap the ankle to prevent the ankle from further injury. I have several old sport injuries that were injured only once that give me a lot of problems now since I am older.

go see your trainer, (s)he'll probably tape it up, ask them if they have any suggestions, I don't really know how bad it is, any swelling and major pain with walking? see the doctor...
