i often find dead spiders near my kitchen window, but not really anywhere else in the house. is there any reason for this? do they venture inside just to die, or do they die looking for a way out? i live in kansas, and usually (but not always) the spiders are brown recluses, so i'm glad to see them go, but wtf?

Spider death will usually be one of three things, something poisonous, lack of food or improper temperature. Near the kitchen window, is it close to the sink? High heat and humidity from dishes could be killing them, some sort of cleaner you use, or no food source in that area. Myself personally, I like my little spider friends, I'd MUCH rather a spider then what ever it is finding to eat.
