Aqua - Freaky Friday
Lyrics:
Howdy people?
Here's a little story about an old friend of mine
And to all you great folks out there
This is hardcore 10-4....
Freaky friday, things ain't going my way
Everything is gone, my life is a country song
Oh-oh
I jumped out of my bed this morning
Then I heard this crunchy sound
From my left leg that was broken
And a note was laying on the ground
Baby, I'm leaving you this minute
Took the car and the cats and dogs
Got the boots and the rhinestone stetson
Nothing's left but the note you got, ah you suck
Freaky friday, things ain't going my way
Everything is gone, my life is a country song
Freaky friday, go play on the highway
Everything is wrong, what the heck is going on
On my way through crosstown traffic
I was hit by a giant truck
I came late to work and got fired
Then suddenly the thunder struck
Oh-oh
Baby, I am leaving you this minute
Took the car and the cats and dogs
Got the boots and the rhinestone stetson
Nothing's left but the note you got, ah you suck
Freaky friday, things ain't going my way
Everything is gone, my life is a country song
Freaky friday, go play on the highway
Everything is wrong, what the heck is going on
Life's a country song - hardcore 10-4
What the heck is wrong - yiiii-ha
Life's a country song - hardcore 10-4
What the heck is going on
Life's a country song - hardcore 10-4
What the heck is wrong - yiiii-ha
Life's a country song - hardcore 10-4
What the heck is going on
Everything is gone, my life is a country song
Hardcore 10-4
Freaky friday, things ain't going my way
Everything is gone, my life is a country song
Freaky friday, go play on the highway
Everything is wrong, what the heck is going on
Well folks, that's all for now
Life is just a long long country song
And that's a big 10-4
WHAT THE HELL IS GOING ON?
Bruce Willis (Mick Terry Silvent Tree Music)
1A: He was in the men's room
when the compost hit the fan,
doing what comes naturally
for almost any man.
He heard the sounds of popcorn
filtered through the building's walls.
Then a bullet sliced above his head,
tearing through a couple stalls.
2B: Had he stood up sooner,
then it would have been the end
as it was in the stall next door
for a man he'd once called friend.
His shock and horror mounted
as the blood spread 'cross the floor.
What the hell was going on?
Did he dare go out that door?
CHORUS:
What the hell is going on?
Just what is happening here?
Are we as brave as we'd like to think
or do we move from fear?
What the hell is going on?
Do we dare to choose
actions that could save the day
when there's the ultimate to lose?
3A: Too late for his neighbor,
he had better make a plan.
Should he go to others' aid
or should he make a stand?
Visions of Bruce Willis
quickly came and quickly went.
If he stuck his head outside that room,
his last breath would be spent.
4B: He'd seen all the movies
where the hero drops a grate,
climbs into the ductwork,
barely makes his great escape.
But the A/C vent was tiny
and no window did exist.
He was trapped inside his head.
He was not prepared for this.
CHORUS:
5B: Choosing to do nothing
is a choice all of its own.
Crouched in fear on top the john,
he dared not make a sound.
A pounding on the door and a terse,
"Get off the can!",
brought him back to realize
he'd been in Walter Mitty Land.
CHORUS:
