I had a very normal period, 30 day cycle. my last one was Jan 5th. it was short, 3 days long, day 14 of my cycle, I started bleeding again, short, it started red, then ended brownish color. Today is Feb 22nd, and I still havent had another period. Stress isnt a factor, or diet, or excercise. I had home pregnancy tests, and they were negitive, and still no period. I dont have medical insurance, and this is driving me crazy, I dont know if it could be pregnancy, or something wrong with my body. It would be nice to know whats going on. I dont think I have any infections, Sex doesnt hurt,
I would love to be pregnant if pregnancy were the case. But this no period thing is verry unusual for me.
The thing that makes it the hardest is not knowing whats going on, and this is not usual. ......
my boyfriend and I have been praying for a baby, then all this happened with my period,,,
The other thing you might need to know is that I had my tubes tied 6 and a half years ago.

Your tubes can become untied it is a possiblity also some times pregnancy test can be wrong it is not very uncommon do you have a free clinic where you live most places do you may need to call around the government offices and see like the food stamp office if you are not sure where to find the free clinc they can usally help you it could also be a possibilty that your body is going through normal changes

Honestly, it doesn't sound like pregnancy to me. It sounds like dysfunctional uterine bleeding. I had it after the delivery of my youngest. It can even cause pregnancy symptoms: nausea, tender breasts.

It could also be cysts or a thyroid condition. All of the above will cause long or unusual periods. You'd really need to see a dr for an answer. Wait a week and take another test, if you have pain in your lower side, see a dr immediately. It could be a tubal pregnancy or even a miscarriage.

Wow! I think if it is pregnancy, dont get too excited. Honestly, all bs aside, it may not be a good one. Normally though, when your pregnant in your tubes, it comes up on your test also. Umm..I think you need to go to the doctor and have them take a look at ya. I doubt your pregnant, but since your period is never irregular, maybe something else is wrong. Go to the doc.

i went to my doctor yesterday for something similar. it's been 51 days since the 1st day of my last period. i had my tubes tied after my son 3 yrs ago. i found out it could be low hormones in your thyroid. if the pregnancy test is done & comes out negative, then you're probably not pregnant. my dr. suggested i wait 2 weeks then test again, i should know for sure by then. i would suggest that for you too. you may need to have your thyroid checked. webmd has alot of information & it said that women after pregnancy sometimes develops a thyroid problem.

Pregnancy is rare when your tubes are tied, but it is possible. Go and see your OB to see if there is something else going on to delay your period. Good Luck

BTW, if your not pregnant and you want to have another baby, you can have the procedure reversed.

Hm, the pregnancy tests are pretty exact, i tried a couple of them and they always showed negative, and ones i was pregnant it was positive. So you most likely not pregnant, maybe your body is undergoing some changes for whatever reason, different eating habits and stuff like that

Thyroid disease is one of the most common health problems we face today. From a practical standpoint, there are many ways to approach this issue. Learn here https://tr.im/dUdI2

Hypothyroidism, or underactive thyroid, is a very common problem, and there are many reasons for this, including drinking chlorinated and fluoridated water, and eating brominated flour.

Chlorine, fluoride, and bromine are all in the same family as iodine, and can displace iodine in your thyroid gland.

Secondly, many people simply aren't getting enough iodine in their diet to begin with. The amount you get from iodized salt is just barely enough to prevent you from getting a goiter.

I don't think you're pregnant. I also doubt there is any serious problem. Sometimes are bodies jut go out of whack for a month or two. If you are not in pain, I wouldn't worry too much.

Try waiting another week or so and take another test. If you don't have insurance I guess that would be the only way to find out for now
