Help us by editing your question with what the floor is made of?

If it is concrete, we scraped ours up with a blade. Basically a thick putty knife ground to a sharp edge.

If this is wood, I might consider sanding it, unless what is left is so thick it would clog up the sander too fast. You can rent some powerfull machines at Home Depot and others.

why does every one think that vinegar would solve all the problems all you need is a floor scraper you get it at home depot it has a metal blade with long Handel if it's on concrete or wood you're trying to take that pad off that's how we do it good luck
