The President. This is another part of our outdated Constitution. This was a good way when we were first a new Nation, now we have out grown it. It now used as a political way of ruling our countries laws by political view.
It is time, “We the People”, first words of our Constitution, forced a new amendment to the Constitution bring it up to date on this subject.
I think there could be a more fair way by rating judges so that they all have scores. A simple rating card would be designed and all cards would be secret. This card would be used by judges on each others rulings, the attorneys that stand in front of them, as well as the attorneys that would use the card to rate the judge in front of them and their rulings. . These would add up over the years and push good judges to the front of the list and the 3 top judges would allow the Senate to pick one for the new position. Also in the amendment, it should state that the Chief Justice would be the longest serving judge, not one picked for political purpose
It is time We the People tried to take politics out of the Constitution
