talk to your dad about knocking first before he enters your room.then bring up the fact that you love him but going through your books is frustrating for you. tell him nicely, you might have a page marked that you need later on. tell him that if he would like to spend time with you to catch up on your life that you can set time for him so you both can enjoy yourselves. your lucky most dads don't talk to much to their kids.

Dad why do you always come into my room, and flip through my books, Are you looking for something. Or is there something you want to talk about. Or don't you trust me. That should make him speechless, and hope he'll get the hint, Do it in a nice way

Maybe you can figure out a way to tell him that you need your space without being rude. If that doesn't work maybe you can use someone he is close to like a girlfriend or mom, and tell them instead, then hint that you don't want him to know, meanwhile they will tell him anyway, for you, and he will feel obligated to keep his mouth shut about knowing this information because he's not suppose to know. Get it? I use to do that with my dad's girlfriends, when i didn't want to ask him for anything and they would tell him how i didn't want to ask him and they feel bad, but they have to tell him, because it's on there mind.

.... he seems like he wants to talk to you.. It might seem annoying to you but he just wants to get to know you and spend time with you. If you don't want him looking through his books and possessions tell him tehy are private but you should give some time to talk to him.. If you are unormtaable with him lying onyour bed suggest talking in the livign room. You could alsways tell him you have homework or something
