At what age did you start getting your period?I'm 11 and I still didnt get my period,and my friend and I are the same age and she got hers last year.Is this normal?

Its normal.All girls get their periods at different times. Like between the ages 10 - 16. I got mine when I was 12 so dont worry.

You are around the time, so be patient:) I got mine at 11, most friends got theirs at 13, and one friend didn't have until 16 so she went to the doctor and took some medicine, so she got hers at 16. But i am 27 years old now. I know that the start age for periods nowadays can be around 10-11. Can even be 9.
Typical signs that you'll get your periods within a year are the growth of breasts and some pubic hair.

Don't worry about it. Periods can come to someone anytime from the age of six to sixteen. 11 is average. I got mine when I was 13, and while my friends all had their periods by the time they were 10, I was in agony like you. It usually depends on your family history, so you'll probably get it when your mom got it. Also, Asian women tend to start periods later and get menopause later too. THere's a lot of factors involved, but the thing is, RELAX, because there is nothing wrong with you. You're just a late bloomer, which means that you're going to get menopause later than everyone else, so look at the bright side!

I was about 2 months of turning 15 when I got mine.
Like everyone else has said you are normal stop stressing not every girl gets it at the same age

its totally normal to get your period at an early age. In fact the youngest you can get it is 9 yrs old. I got mine at the age of 12. Dont worry you'll get it by the time your 14. Just dont rush on getting your period. Itll be annoying.

I was 13, and same applies to my two best friends. Girls are getting their periods at an earlier age now because of hormones found in food, and even milk. Don't worry it will come. Enjoy the time you have now!

Hmm well i got mine when i was twelve. It is okay if your friends got there period b4 you it is completly normal ppl devlop faster then other ppl it is normal i have been through the same thing as you so don't think something is wrong with you. Some ppl don't get it until they are teens

Every ones different, I didn't get mine till I was 17 and my cousin got her when she was 13. You usually follow in your family steps so ask them,like say your mom got hes at age 14 likely your get your then,If you have more concerns ask a doctor.

Both of you are normal. The age can range anywhere from about 9-16 years old. I wouldn't be worried about it (in fact, enjoy not having it while you can!).

I got mine at 11 and my girls were 11-12. My sister-n-law waited til she was 16. All were normal. Enjoy not having one while you can, they are NO PICNIC!
