does purging afect your eyes?

i started purging bout 2 months ago,and now my eyes dry strangely often...it may not be cause of that, what do u think?

Dangerous medical conditions WILL develop if you continue. You need to seek therapy to find the cause, or reasons WHY you do this, and learn how to control it. Yes, your eyes can be affected by purging, as well as, loosing all the enamel on your teeth(tooth loss), major gastric-intestinal problems, not too mention major psychological effects. Obviously you have an eating disorder, and you need to find out why you have this fear of becoming fat. This disorder can also lead to anorexia. I suffered many years from what you are going through, Food , you will learn is NOT the enemy. Please seek help NOW, before you find that you can not stop. The longer you continue the harder it will become to control. Please trust me on this. I do not care about the damn points, just that you get help....Bulimia is a very serious disorder

It is because of that...your body isn't able to keep the nutrients that it needs, so it causes bad things to happen to you. Just like your esophagus is deteriorating along with your teeth, your eyes can dry out, you'll get bags under them, you will all around just look completely disgusting in about a month if you keep this up. YOu will constantly have barf breath too.....and then you will die very young. You are not a very smart person.

Please stop purging ! your eyes although can be effected are the least of your worries. It can do so much irreversible damage to so many areas of your body incl: your esophagus stomach intestine and others . If you need to loose weight , eat sensibly ,work out
this is just going to destroy your body and you probably wont even get the results that your looking for.

Throwing up can cause pressure behind the eyes. My little girl actually bursts blood vessels around her eyes when she gets sick...gives her black eyes.

More importantly might be the erosion of your esophagus from the stomach acid, decay of your teeth as the acid eats through your tooth enamel, and malnutrition which will cause your skin to deteriorate, hair to fall out, and bones to weaken.

Other than that, I'm sure you look great.

If you are talking about vomiting as in bulimia then yes it may cause dehydration in your whole body including your eyes. This is a dangerous sign. Get help asap.

I myself have suffered for over 10 years. I'm 26 now and now I just pray that I will have the strength to get over this. Luckily nothing major has happened to me, but I realize that I could just collaspe at any moment and life is too short. Please stop sweetie.

seriously though. dry eyes are the least of your problems. sorry if i sound harsh. PLEASE for your sake talk to a counsler or a parent. even a note is fine. even a visit to your doctor. an aunt. an uncle. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE find some help, honey. good luck and god bless.
