Do you think that Liberal Democrats watch programming by the Christian Broadcasting Network (The 700 Club) or by Fox News? Why or why not?

I would say they would watch Fox News in some aspect but not watch The 700 Club.

In a way the 700 Club is more honest than Fox. The 700 Club doesn't pretend to be fair and balanced.

I am a liberal, but not a Democrat (I do have a party affiliation though to a minor party). I watch Fox News so I can find out what the other side is talking about and how they view my opinions. It helps me to see where they are coming from and better fuels my debates. Also, I can learn to back down when they have something right and I can't support my view anymore. There are many news pieces other channels don't talk about. I am all about hearing things from both sides.

ALL political shows are hilarious, in my opinion. Most of the news reporters have odd tv personalities. I love politicians and take them seriously most of the time, but they crack me up when they go on interviews.

I am a liberal and I watch Fox news just so I can laugh at their idiotic statements and obviously slanted news. I would never watch the 700 Club, as Pat Robertson is a f**king nutjob.

I haven't watched the 700 Club since right after I graduated college in 1980. It was on right after The Twilight Zone and we'd get stoned for the double feature.

I do watch Fox News, as I find it highly amusing and its generally best to know what the conservatives are babbling about.

I do not watch the 700 club, since I do not believe in organized religion nor do I feel they preach true christianity.

ck4829--good one!

Ive seen the 700 club occasionaly. Biased is not the word for it.
They tell their fan base ONLY what they want to hear. I remember seeing it randomly once in August and a woman on there said of poor kids who just got new school clothes "Oh thats so nice! Now they wont have to hear any taunts from the more priveliged kids!" True, but that totally belies the quote from Christ "give not a thought to the appearance".

Both are, in essence, feel-good entertaiment outlets for specific viewer markets.

I sometimes watch Faux News, it's a good way to see the new slander that will emerge the next day aimed at Democrats. You don't have to be a Democrat or a Republican to watch that freak show nut Pat Robertson - you simply have to be empty-headed and easily conned.

Are you talking about the Democratic party in the U.S., the Liberal Party in Canada, or the Liberal Democrats in Britain?
