I'm debating with friends. I'm a little leary about first cousins marrying. But if the cousins are 2nd, 3rd, 4th or farther, I really couldn't care less if they married or not. In my opinion, once you get so far down the line, it's too distant to even matter. My debate is this...Rich people have been marrying their cousins for centuries. It is the working class and the poor who are not accustomed to marrying cousins. My two buddies shake their heads and say "no way". Not even 2nd or 3rd cousins should marry. Guess I'm a little bit open minded. Yahoo users, please tell me what do you think about 'Marrying cousins'?

No way! first and second cousins is too weird! I think you should factor in genetics, you see if two people closely related have children then the child is more likely to have disease or deformities.
