In the beginning Congress I think WAS there for the people. Today they are only there for themselves. The more they make the longer they stay. I saw somewhere on here where somebody said there needs to be term limits. I totally agree. Why do you think they put term limits on the president.

What is to love or hate. A better question is if they are really honest how do all of them come out of the house or senate filthy rich. They are supposed to be working to make our lives better, not lining their pockets. That is why you see the good ones give up and leave in disgust.

When we agree with Congress, we think they are great but when we disagree it gets "sticky".
We love it when our elected officials "bring home the bacon" so they try.
When the taxes to pay for the "bacon" get high we don't like.
So it is a dilemma for our elected officals, i.e., if they don't bring home the "bacon" they lose their job but if they raise our "taxes" to pay for the "bacon" they also lose their job.
Delicate balancing act and this is why everyone tells it from their "slant". It is called "SPIN".

love? hate....it's all hate...political bums...when was the last time they actually did something for the American citizen? health care? social security? jobs moving out of the country? illegal aliens? gas prices? ecosystem?...they are ALL JERKS!~
