I have a 1988 chevy Camaro. Automatic. I want to change the Shifting knob. Can I do that?

Yeah i dont see why not you might have to make some customization but yeah.

On the front of the shifter knob, there is a horizontal slot - apply the emergency brake, turn key to "on" (not starting it), and pull the shifter to the "1" position to see it. Inside the slot is a small clip - insert screwdriver and gently pry the clip out - then the knob pulls straight off. What it can be replaced with is up to you and your abilities, but it can be removed easily.

On an automatic...maybe not. It would probably take a bit of work. Check a camaro web forum.

sure, there should be a set screw on it someplace or a c-clip that holds it on.
