over and over again, repeat a pattern of behavior until it is engrained in your mind as the natural flows of events in your life.

You can start off by going to bed at the same time every night and getting up at the same time everyday. Figure out a schedule of how your day will go. My routine is getting up at 4:30 am and exercising, getting into the shower at 5:30, I'm making breakfast by 6:30, out the door by 7:40 at work by 8:00, lunch at 12 out at 4:30, dinner by 6:00, dishes washed by 8:00 pm (depending on whats on tv) and bed by 10:30, I do this everyday. I also have a weekend routine. If you get into a routine, life becomes easier, get your kids into a routine, they will behave better because they know what is going to happen all the time.

well you have to start by getting around to doing it.
Think about it, you might already have a daily routine. You go to sleep, wake up, brush your teeth, make something to eat, get ready for work or school.

But if your the type who gets bored easily. then dont get a routine.

Its all about organizing your day.

Quit the paradox. I order to get into a routine i read that you have to do that same thing everyday around the same time for at least 45 days. And in order to do that you must commit and just be very discipline

Routines are for Paranoid Androids.

Also Routines make you predictable and easy prey.

If i know you draw your money from the bank on tueday morning then go shopping in the evening for lets say 1 and a half hours. Well then you are making things easy for me aren't you.

You have to repeat the same thing day after day. It takes about two weeks of trying for most of us, after that it is done with very little effort, becoming ''routine''.

Do the same things at the same time each day.
For example I get up and take a shower and then do laundry every day in that order.
Routines make life so much easier!!

I bet you are already in a routine and you don't even know it! Maybe your routine is procrastinating.
