First, I would eliminate Verlander, Papelbon, and Morneau. They have probably hit their peaks, despite their age. Also, both of the pitchers, experienced some injuries down the stretch. Then, I would eliminate Delmon Young and Zambrano. Young is unproven and Zambrano is somewhat of an injury risk. Next, McCann and Cain are tossed. They have great potential, based on stuff or position. Still, they aren't worth it. The two remaing pitchers are Felix Hernandez and Francisco Rodriguez. K-Rod will get you saves, and Hernandez ERA, WHIP, and strikeouts. King Felix has the most potential and reported to camp in amazing shape compared to last year. As for hitters, Bay, Cabrera, Crawford, Sizemore, and Teixeira are left. Sizemore is better than both Crawford and Bay, outside of stolen bases. Cabrera and Teixeira are both great hitters. I'd take Cabrera. Both have deep positions, but Cabrera's is slightly shallower. Besides, Cabrera will hit for a much better average, with only a little less power, and similar counting stats.
TAKE SIZEMORE, CABRERA, RODRIGUEZ, AND HERNANDEZ.

I'd say-
1) Crawford (steals, BA, runs, even some power)
2) Zambrano (no real history of injury problems; improved offense should be a huge boost)
3) Francisco Rodriguez (while Papelbon is great, his move to being a starter may or may not be a good thing)
4) This one's tough between Bay & Teixeira...I'd probably give the nod to Teixeira based on his supporting cast and better power, but like I said, this one's really close.

Carlos Zambrano and Francisco Rodriguez as the two pitchers and Carl Crawford and Miguel Cabrera as the two hitters. Wins and saves benefiting from a good team and the two hitters put up good power numbers with good averages

Ya gotta keep Zambrano without a doubt, the kid's amazing, and they should have a better offense this year with the combo of soriano and d-lee.
Papelbon is a good choice, but keep in mind he will be a starter this year. You can probably get a good reliever in the draft, so stick with him. You will have two of the better/best starters in the league.
As for hitters, I'd keep Jason bay and Miguel Cabrera, simply put, they're two of the best hitters in the NL. Bay will have hot streaks like he went on last year. And Cabrera is a solid hitter who won't hurt you in any category.

Outta the guys listed, Id keep Verlander, Cabrera, McCann, Morneau, and Teixeira.
Keep:
Verlander is young, plays for a good team
Cabrera is young, and will continue his pace hitting wise
McCann is one of the best young hitting catchers in the league.
Morneau and Teixeira...can you say competing for AL MVP honors?
Unload:
Zambrano - not happy with his team/contract
Rodriguez - good, when healthy
Papelbon - he's dying to be a starter, loses LOTS of value
Cain - nothing special here
Bay - he's borderline. plays for a crap team
Crawford - he's good for SB's but not much more
Sizemore - you have Teixeira and Morneau. Try to avoid too many guys from the same division
Young - a HUGE gamble. Bad attitude, still too young for MLB in my opinion

Zambrano - One of the best pitchers in the league, has very high Ks and now has some hitting to help him get even more wins.
Verlander- ROY last year, strong young pitcher and is very healthy a no-doubt keeper
Cabrera- Very young, very powerful, great average, can do almost anything in any fantasy league setting
Morneau- MVP last year had a great year with tremendous numbers. Still young and a very good player to keep.

Miguel Cabrera, Carl Crawford, Justin Verlander, K-Rod. That group will give you the most points in all stat categories combined.
These are all players who don't get hurt too often (except maybe K-Rod), are young and hitting their prime.
It's kind of vague with no stat categories to go on but that's my best suggestion.

For pitchers I would keep Justin Verlander because of his low ERA and Jonathan Papelbon because of his rookie year. As for batters I would choose Grady because he has a high average and he hits 20+home runs. I would also choose Carl Crawford because he can get you a lot of points for stolen bases.

Francisco Rodriguez (because he is a consistent young closer)
Justin Verlander (a good young arm that is only going to get better)
Brian McCann (his potential and ability that is scarce in his position)
Mark Teixeira (it's sometimes hard to get a great first baseman/ utility in draft process and this should be a good year for him)
