wow...that sounded kind of racist to me. you see, if we want a world without racism, we need to stop acting like there is a difference between people other than the amount of certain pigments in the skin!
and the pale people used in the vids are to emphasize darkness. cuz they probably are all wearing black which sticks out against their pale skin. the high contrast looks good.

why wouldn't he like black fans? They're just the same as everyone else, you can't judge a person by the skin colour, i don't think he'd do such a thing...That's the same that saying that white ppl can't listen to most rap singers, because they're white...Maybe you hang out with people that like other kinds of music... And pale ppl appear a lot in mcr videos, just because it gives a bit goth look, because of the contrast with dark backgrounds and with the own lyrics... (not that mcr is goth, I'M NOT SAYING THAT... i don't know what kind of music mcr is, only that is good...) but i think all ppl can listen to the music they like and should, too, it's not that you're going to listen to music because the singer is black, white, asian, whatsoever... You listen to music, because you like the songs and I must say, most of the songs that i listen to are from bands which members i never seen and know nothing about, name, skincolour, nothing...and i'm not very worried about it...but i don't know anything about gerard way's taste in women, so i don't know if he'd date one or not...but why wouldn't he? black girls are as beautiful, as smart, as nice as any others...

You are def, a racist. How about Cowboy Troy, he is AFRICAN AMERICAN, and he likes country. I don't think anyone would be stupid enough to ask a question like that. My Godfather is black, my husband is Latino, and I am white and we all listen to the same type of music. I like the beat of cumbia, and salsa. Also the mariachi when you've been drinking cervesa.I love R&B, Marvin Gaye, Rufus and Chaka Khan, I also like new wave, Garbage,
Evenecense, Daughtry, Guns and Roses, Def Leppard,
Fuel, Good Charolotte, just to name a phew.
And as the person before said no one uses the word colored any more, we are all a color, nobody is white, not even a new born, they are pink.

This is the second time you have questioned the listening preference of black people. In each question, you have stated that you are not a racist, but with your consistant questioning of others taste, you are proving otherwise. Please let me enlighten you on this subject in hope that you will not make such a biggotist statement again.
You should not think of people as race or ethnicity when you are thinking of their particular taste. You should think more in the lines of their culture. Culture helps to build your personality and taste, not your race. You are more influenced by your surroundings and your upbringing then by the color of your skin. Jimmy Hendrix is considered to be on of the greatest Rock guitar players of all times. He was not brought up in a southern town. He was born and raised in Seattle Washington. Eminem is a white rapper. He was raised a town that is famous for Mowtown, Detroit.
This same theory can be demonstrated with food. I know a bunch of white people that will eat gumbo and crawfish, and black people that would never touch it. If you are not raised with it, you probably would not have a preference for it.
Taste is not something that is determened by your race, but more from your culture and upbringing.
I hope that you are not a racist, but if your questions continue in the manner that they are stated now, you probably are.

I think that there alot of Black Fans of punk/pop-punk. Just do a search on Myspace and I'm sure you could connect with some groups that have members who are black. And as far as Gerard Way liking black girls, I don't think anyone could be sure about this but him. Good luck finding your answer.

Why would you assume that some Black people wouldn't be fans of a certain type of music. I think it's safe to say that the majority of us listen to r&b, jazz and rap but I personally listen all types like a lot of Black people. Who is Gerald and what does liking my chemical romance have to do with interracial dating. Your way too race conscious for me, just enjoy music and life.

You phrased your question with "CAN". Of course they can be fans of My Chemical Romance, you'd be shocked. But not many are exposed to that genre of music. I certainly know who they are and I kinda sorta like their first song (Black Parade or something?) and I live in the heart of Africa so imagine how many African Americans are exposed to their music. Many black TRL viewers are certainly exposed and if you consider the amount of emerging black musicians doing emo, punk and other genres dominated by white people, I think you can be assured that My Chemical Romance has loads of black fans. As for Gerard's preferences, who knows? And who cares?

And i know many types of people who listen to MCR..not just white people.
