i have a wireless laptop with an aol router at home but i can't seem to access the internet in say the library where there is wirless connection.i get the signal but internet explorer just won't open. does anyine know why?

When in the library, are you actually connected? You need to tell your laptop to connect to the Library's connection. You can have multiple wireless profiles - just make sure to use the right one at the library and the other one at home.

could be that you have not logged onto the one in the library

most wireless connections in public places you have to pay for and need the password - ask someone in the library
