They are currently in the bubble 9th spot with 22 games to play. They have to play MIN 3 more times, EDM 2 more times, VAN 3 more times and CGY 3 more times. Those 11 games will more than likely decide if COL will be buying or selling players.

Gone are the old days where they could rent a Ray Bourque or Rob Blake to make a run at the Cup. Col basically screwed the pooch on their prospects cupboard and they are going to pay for it for some time to come. The Cap really F'ed the Avs as did the retired GM LeCroix.

NEITHER!! They can do some damage if they get themselves on a nice winning streak. In order to get guys they'll need to give up rookies. In order to be sellers they're going to be giving guys like Hejduk away so I say stay as they are. They've been playing good hockey, they just need to be a little more consistent and they can pass the Wild.

their definatley gonna be sellers, because honestly they have to do something because they dont have the cap space, like look at this year pretty sad you cant afford dan hinote a 4th line energy guy, honestly do they want the same team for next year??? i cant see them renting out sakic but hey gretzky got traded
