On Nbc heroes Peter has a new nuclear power, On other powers that he mimics he had been close to those other heroes. Maybe I missed an episode I think, How can Peter have the new nuclear power when he hasnt been anywhere near the Nuclear power guy?? can anyone tell me? any heroes fan tell me??? please explain.

no peter can absorb any power but the nuclear power u r talkin about is when he blows up the city
this is suppose to happen because peter can't control all the powers he absorbs so he is suppose to have a melt down and blow up the city
but the city doesn't blow up yet cause peter is learning to control his powers by the invisible guy

He doesn't have the nuclear power yet. The past couple of episodes he's been trying to learn how to control his gift. Hence, learning from the invisible guy to control his powers at will.
He can only use powers from those he's met. He doesn't know about the nuclear guy yet, but he does know that some time soon, he'll blow up NYC because he can't control his powers.
I'm looking forward to the next episode, because the mind reading cop meets up with Claire, and I'm curious on what he's going to read from her mind.
Heroes is a great show.

I was waiting for someone to figure that one out.
He can't go nuclear yet but Ted can and Peter is clarevoyant. He dreams the future.
The first time he did this was when Nathan flew out of his car that night. Peter dreamed it was him.
In this dream he thought he was Ted Sprague, the nuclear guy.
That was the moment you figured out that Peter was not just a mimic . He is an empath.
Now unless Ted has some really strong emotions Peter is not ready yet to explode.
What's more, why isn't anyone else wondering this? They all know what he is capable of but they have to wonder who has the power Peter fears? And yet nobody is looking for Ted. Not Nathan, not Isaac, not Suresh. Where is their common sense? Why hasn't Claude thought about that?
There is something wrong there.

Well what it's been said that Peter is going to blow up because he is not able to control all the powers being absorbed. Sort of like when he fainted when he got of jail.He fainted because he was taking too many powers in.I don't remember Peter being near the Nuclear guy either and I've seen all of the episodes.But the reason,he's supposedly is going to blow up is because he cannot control all of the powers.That's what I've heard but perhaps, he will meet the Nuclear guy in following episodes.

I dont think he has absorbed the power yet but the invisible guy was just trying to teach peter how to control the other powers so he can handle it when he does absorb the power...its kinda confusing lol

Obviously they're going to meet soon. They know Peter is going to blow up NYC, but they don't know how or why. So just hold on, and I'm sure your question will be answered.

i think it is because he came in contact with matt parkman, who had been in contact with him(nuclear guy). just like he has the powers of the people sylar had killed before they came in contact with each other.
** i think is sickness was the radiation exposure.

i don't think he has the nuclear power yet... but he will & that's the problem (hence, when he blows up the city).
