I have a yamaha keyboard that i only really use to practice and it just occured to me that it has an output jack. can i plug this into my guitar amp (line 6 spider II) or will everything just blow up?

Electrically it will be fine, but a guitar amp is designed to reproduce the midrange frequency response of a guitar - not the wide frequency range of a keyboard.

It's likely that your lows won't sound very punchy, and the subtle tones of your highs might not even exist.

It is no problem. The sound will be maybe not as perfect like it would be with keyboard amp, but still OK. I was playing bass guitar with keyboard amp for example :)

yes you can, make sure the amp volume is all the way down and adjust from there, make sure it is on clean as well. i have that same amp as my practice amp and i use my keyboards with it as well.

You can do it.. I've used my stepson's keyboard through one of my Roland amps.. Aux. input. Worked okay.. Made his keyboard sound really good too.. Yamaha too.
