you better consider getting a lot bigger alternator before you worry about the battery, all that stuff takes a lot of amperage and the stock alternator won't handle that.

Dee, Mr SS has it part way right. If your driving with all this on a high output alternator is needed . As far as everyone saying go with 700 cold cranking amps means just that for cranking the motor over. What is most important is the reserve capacity of the battery What that means is how long your vehicle can run on just the battery .So ,if you are sitting still and playing with all these new " toys" the Delco model 78 DT 72 has the most reserve capacity in the business. DT stands for dual terminal and it has a reserve cap.of 90-120 minutes. A friend of mine could drive his T Bucket with twin turbos (and no place to put an alternator ) could drive from Muncie Ind up to Ft Wayne on just the battery (no radio and headlites off ) and back home. We worked at Delco Battery in Muncie and that is where I got educated on batteries and battery life. When you go to buy the battery have the salesman / mechanic show you the Julian code on it . This code tells when the battery was produced on what day of the year.See ,the fresher the battery the more it is able to reach a full charge. After a battery sits for a month it goes from 100% to say,90 % . After 3 mo. it only reaches, say 75% and after 6 mo. it will only reach ,say 65-70% of maximum capacity . The Military bought these batteries off us cause according to Consumer reports it was (Delco ) the best in its field. This model (78 DT 72) is a 10 in. long battery and fairly tall also .Just make sure it fits under the hood. This battery has the densest lead composition in the plates and medium hot acid mix so it gives both high cold cranking amps for starting the vehicle as well able to run many electrical componants when the engine isn't running because of the reserve stored"juice" for a long time.

u cant go wrong with the good old die hard ...run from anything with exide corp's name on it. there is a company called daystarter.they sell a 60 month battery for about 95.00+ . their gimmick is?if it goes bad before 60 month. they replace it with new. no-proration.that means charging you for the time the battery was working.and no questions asked.could be the last battery you may ever need....whats most important for you is not the maker or how well they back it up.one battery is pretty much the same as the next.the differnce in batterys is in cca or cold cranking amps... the higher the cca. the stronger the battery.sounds like you want to flip quarters on the roof of your car or something. so dont get anything lower than 750cca. that or above will be more than enough to keep your bass drivers and amps a pumping. dont forget your hearing protection lol....E
