The average height of a fashion model who does Runway is 5'9". The thing about it is, that's what they (clients ie: designers, producers and so such) are looking for. However, there are runway shows that are going more towards average height people 5'6" and up. My models average 5'7" through 6'2", but it never hurts to try out anyway! Just be positive and show that attitude when you audition. If you have great worry about height and weight, talk to your agent! Good luck to you!

BMI is GARBAGE! It is one of the worst measurements of healthy because their is so many things that can throw off the numbers. You can be very unhealthy and still have a great BMI
your height should be 5'9 at least...5'8" if your face is amazing! The only way to judge healthy is with a Caliper test of fat percentage.
your measurements is what they really look at. so they should be around 34- 24 -34....give or take an inch. With a 34 inch inseam.

erm wheen your on the catwalk you compeating agaainst ladies over 5ft 8 (: soo 5ft 8 (: im 14 and do modelling. im 5ft 10-11 :/ i hate being tall. yet love the modelling (: its sturdy (: i dont think of you're a catwalk variety yet you may desire to attempt it out as a commercial variety (: i doo issues like waterloo highway extraas and issues atm i wisssh you all thee luck (: x

to be high fashio model u have to be 5' 8''
and u have to be around 120 to 130 pounds like size 0 - 2 and i am not sure about size 4

u have 2 b 5'9" & if u watch the tyra banks show when tyra got startded the people told her 2 loose 10 pounds when she was only 123 pounds & she didn't she went out & ate pizza & now she is 1 of the biggest runway&fashion models ever.

Very tall and very thin. At least 5'9'' and a size two, although that might change with designer, but not much.

At least 5' 8" and skinny. Never mind about the face, they'll fix any flaws with makeup.

i think you have to be at least 5'8". and your BMI (body mass index) should be like 20 or less? 18 or less is anorexic. usually most models are below 18 but that's not very healthy, now is it?????????

well i guess u have to be atleast 5'6" ..but sum are 5'4" if u got the walk den dey dont care...thin models wer suxx..u dont hav to be too thin...it depends on ur height if ur 5'4"-5'6" atleast 130 lbs...
