I think they should take OL Joe Thomas. The main reason being that so Simms or any of our QBs won't land on the backs every play. If you don't believe me, watch most of last seasons games. For example, Week 3 vs Carolina when Simms rupered his spleen. He had it rupered when he was hit from the blind side.

I think they should take calvin johnson with their first pick.. The reason being is that they were one of the worst passing teams in the NFL.. They had joey galloway and clayton, but they need a big physical rec to complement galloway and clayton. Getting cadilac williams and simms back at a 100% will make them a balanced offense.. But then again they have alot of needs.

there are a lot of needs they could address, joe thomas would be good to help out the line, maybe a quarterback because i don't know if simms can get the job done, or maybe just get a huge playmaker in calvin johnson

i think they need a WR to add more firepower to the offense. Chris Simms is an average starter so he needs plenty of help from the receiving corp to make big plays. I suggest they take Calvin Johnsson or Dwayne Jarrett from USC.

thomas will probably end up with the lions who have the #2 pick, so he may not be there to take...even if he was i would still take calvin johnson...the bucs have needs on their line no doubt, but they just have no receivers besides galloway who are capable of making big plays and johnson gives them that guy...if johnson happens to be gone and thomas is available he is easily the second best pick...if the bucs lose the coin toss to cleveland and both are gone by that time they will trade the pick for additional picks

Calcin Johnson. He will be the best player available when it's their turn to pick. CJ will help the QB and running game.
