to empty cache:
Internet Explorer: menu>tools>internet options>general... Temporary internet files>delete files
also: menu>tools>internet options>content..personal information>autocomplete>clear forms and clear passwords
Firefox: tools>Clear private data

In internet explorer, go to Tools > Internet Options and press the Clear History button. Then press the Delete Files and Delete Cookies buttons.

go to your toolbar where it says file edit view history bookmarks tools and help. Click tools then go down to options then go to privacy in the tab and there should be a place that says clear

exact way will depend on the brower and maybe it's version
but it should be under something like tools/internet options
