Binoculars - like glasses - are lenses.
Try to avoid any contact with them.
If necessary, blow binocular lenses clean, or brush them.
If any further action is needed, then wipe them.
I got something called 'Ever Clean' free from my opticians when I had my glasses. It works fine - no smears.
But a camera shop will charge you a fortune for something you can get from the opticians for half the price. Try that.

Owning several expensive camera lenses over the years I've used a few things.
If your lenses are dusty or gritty then you sjould use a camel hair brush and/or a can of compressed AIR. Having done this, I at present, use (in the UK) a pre-moistened sachet of 'See Clearly' They come in small foil sachets in boxes of 50. Although there is a grease cutting chemical in them, this will not damage the lens multicoating.
The biggest killer, when cleaning lenses is grit. If you don't make sure your lenses are clean of this, then all you're doing is scouring the lens.
All the above can be purchased from camera stores.
It's interesting to recount an article I read by Vivitar, the lens and camera manufacturer. At their workshops, they use nothing more exotic than breath and soft toilet tissue. True!!

Little paper glass wipes - they absorb grease/ oil and are not abrasive, in the past I have used a jewellers rag (little rag from spec case) going very gently so as not to scratch the glass with the dirt already on it, hope this helps

You will need to visit a camera shop to get special wipes. That is your safest bet.
