First before anything else check your carburetor, if you haven't started it up occasionally, you may have a problem. The carburetor dries out in about six months if it does not get saturated with gas, then it is ruined. The other things you should check would be the oil (change, because it is dirty), the tranny (change filter and fluid), brake fluid (check level). I hope this gets you started. If you need more answers, just ask. Good luck, sounds like a fun project.

2 years is along time for a car to sit...If it was me i would remove the valve covers and pour some oil over the top of the rocker arms and down the oil ports..just so i know the top end had oil...charge the battery...check all fluid levels...put some fresh gas in the tank.....and dump a little gas in the carb..then turn the key.....probably going to need some different tires on it before you go driving it too much

Check the fluids, radiator and oil first. Visualy and by hand check all belts and hoses, check the battery too. If everything looks good then start it up, when it starts let it idle and warm up.... dont go reving the engine until it warms up. Good Luck.
