My truck sat for approximately 2 months over the winter because I bought a more economical vehicle as my primary mode of transportation. The other day I had to use the truck to haul some material and when I started it the brake light stayed on. The brakes seemed a little mushy so I took it to a local shop. The mechanic said he replaced a brake line that was leaking due to rust and bled the brakes. The brakes seem to be ok but the light still stays on. He said something about a sensor or something that tell the brake light to come on but apparently he wasn't interested in curing the problem because he said he wasn't sure where it was located and closed the hood. Any answers as to what can be done to solve the problem? By the way I won't use hime ever again.
