Not so long ago such an idea would have been unthinkable but other things have happened in this country which previously would have been unthinkable. Our democratic rights such a freedom of speech, privacy etc have already gone and more is alleged to be in the pipe line. We now have a State Police who are only interested in 'political' crimes. Our quality of life has been largely ruined by overcrowding caused by uncontrolled immigration, we live in a violent and criminal country and appear to have no right of appeal apart from at election times. There is still some way to go for that possible deliverance.
As a nation we have been far less know to riot about unfair Government decision than, say, the French but I am more and more coming round to the view that it may well happen. It's not so long ago that we had the fuel blockage in protest at rising petrol prices and, since then, we have a lot more to gripe about.

The UK has NEVER had a true democracy. NEVER. That is a fact of history. You can not restore something you never had in the first place. The UK has a democratically elected oligarchy with links to a constitutional monarchy.

Sorry I do not have the answer to this but at some time in the future then the people of this country WILL say enough is enough. It would be so refreshing to get a political leader that simply told the truth no matter what the consequences. That person would have the support of everyone in this country. I cannot for the life of me understand why they have to lie when they know that at some time the truth will emerge

Stick a few pence on the cost of petrol and everyone is up in arms. The government take tax, national insurance, council tax, VAT on goods and no one seems @rsed! What's left of our money after the above has been taken out might be put in a savings account where you'll receive interest (taxed) and then, once you have enough for a deposit to buy a house you get taxed again thanks to Stamp Duty. You insure your house (again, taxed) and then you furnish it with goods (taxed at 17.5%) and spend money on your car (taxed) plus need petrol (HUGE amount of tax on that) and then you die. Your kids get your house and guess what? The poor b@st@rds have to pay Inheritance Tax! If you add it all up, we probably only get to keep about 10% of our money and then spend that on ale and fags.
So, in answer to your question, I wish people would get off their overfed @rses and march to Downing Street to protest. You never know, it worked for the Anti-War protesters. Oh, that's right - it didn't. Oh well, back to the couch. Now where's the remote so I can throw it at the telly.

Never the British people are too damn lazy and self interested to make that kind of protest. Everyone can see the problems both present and future. We have an unelected so called muslim council of Britain telling the elected government this is what they want to happen. Our PM and his merry men spend time making up PC rules (these don't apply to some) and caving in to Europe and any religous organisation that will threaten to sue them with tax payers money if they so much as fart in public

Why dont Parliament start impeachment proceedings or better still why don't the UN get Blair arrested & try him for war crimes.
He had no right to break the neck of a head of state
Why should he & his mate bush decide who should govern what country. If they didn't like what was happening to the people in China or Russia would they invade those countries?
Would they F**K, they would both S**T themselves

In 1967 we formed the group. THE FAVERSHAM FREEDOM FIGHTERS..Sadly mostly of us are now in Heaven or Silver Surfing. But I amongst others are willing to take up my cane and WHUP these LABOURITES. The pension debacle, cash for honours, scrap council housing,. So today this Government is to put £xxxxxxxxx millions into building council houses. So why has my Council just sold off its whole Council Housing stock, to a housing association for an average of £10.000.each house?
