i'm really confused....this question is going to be on a test and i'm not sure how to answer it...isnt there alot of members?

yeah...before people go thinking i am stupid...let me just say..that this stuff was NOT covered in class! the teacher is giving us a test on materal that was not covered in class which is STUPID...but oh well..and i knew the house and senate..i just wasnt sure if that would be the answer! thanks

There are 435 members of the House of Representatives and 100 Senators. Go to www.house.gov and www.senate.gov for lists.

There are more than 500 members of Congress. Congress is made up of two bodies, the House of Representastives with more than 400 members, and the Senate with 100 members (2 from each state).

You might want to be sure and know who are the Congressmen and Senators from your own state. That is usually the next question.
