You can't get original Beatles songs on iTunes. Blame Michael Jackson. I think he still owns the rights. It's okay b/c The Rollings Stones are better. Your musical betterment should really begin there. Some Girls is an amazing album or you could always just get Hot Rocks 64-71. Pretty much covers the best. Your music choices make you sound a little angry. You should channel that into righteous indignation: U2's October. DL Joy Division's Permanent. I think you'll like it. And for something more recent: Death From Above 1979's You're A Woman I'm A Machine. It's just 2 dudes, drums and a bass guitar but you would never know it. Hope you enjoy!

dude, you aren't missing out on anything by not listening to the beatles.
why don't you listen to blink182? you know the band that +44 was spawned from? and how about the offspring? they're a good oldschool punk band. the vandals are supposed to be good. if your looking for something a bit older, the Sex Pistols and Social Distortion are two GREAT bands.
linkin park? they're the only band i can think of that are even remotely like POD and Rage. obviously TOOL!! but good luck finding their songs on iTunes. KoRn used to be a great band before they gave head to jesus. anything prior to "See You on the Other Side" is good. Chevelle is nice alt. metal band. some of Mudvaynes stuff is good. a perfect circle, lacuna coil, taproot, trapt, staind, lostprophets, cold, and finger 11 might also fit your needs.
those are all i can think of. hope it helps.

Beatles - the following albums provide a good and varied selection of their music - "Revolver", "Abby Road", "Yellow Submarine", "The white Album". If you can,try listening to each album in its entirety. That's the best way to make their music your own. I'm sure you will find at least one song per album you like. It doesn't have to be the popular songs or "covers " off the albums either.

Don't listen to the beatles, it's ok to not like them. I mean sure I appreicate what they did for rock n roll but they're not my style.
You should check out Tankard, they're german but they sing in english, great stuff.
One Minute Silence is an English band that has a Rage like sound. You might like them.
Clutch has that nu-metal sound that rage and POD have too, they're alright
White Zombie too (forget Rob Zombie)
oh oh and Helmet, great stuff.

May I suggest that you take a look into bands that are not signed, but have music available for downloads. Myspace, of course, is a good source for music. They have just added a feature where you can buy songs for .99. You will find some killer music that no one else has. You also can look at Garagebands.com for more music.
Good luck and keep on rockin!

Capital Records put out two albums on vinyl. The "red" was the earlier stuff, the "blue" was the later. Both contained two discs. Not sure if they were released on CD or not, but those collections were/are considered "The best of".
