people that always see the negative side of things? I hope I am not insensitive, but I can't stand it. I mean, chin up, be optimistic.I don't see why people can't try to see the bright side of things. They only see the worst side of things and it's so annoying. Again, I'm sorry if I sound insensitive or offensive

I used to always see the bright side of things till I got depression, then it all became gloom and doom.
Hey, it's a treatable medical condition and I just started medication today.

Think about it this way, pessimists always get more of a surprise when good things happen to them. Optimists are like, yeah, another great thing happened, what else is new? Plus when bad things happen, pessimists aren't surprised at all. Besides, optimists aren't always very practical are they?

well, i'll look at their side. they might just show what would go wrong when something happens, and so they point it out in what we think is a negative way
