Each time he has signed unconstitutional bills into law. That includes any budget item that includes welfare, medicare, money for education, social security, corporate welfare, agricultural welfare, campaign finance reform, etc, etc.

But, based on that, every president and every legislator of the past century has violated their oath of office, too.

They know all these things are in complete contradiction to the principles that underlay the Constitution, but it get them elected. The judiciary are no better.

People let this happen because they are more interested in the "bread & circuses" they can get from the politicians than in the freedoms, liberties and rights that once were our birthright.

Bush's first official act as president was to spit on the separation between church and state by creating an office of faith-based initiatives.

And he went downhill from there. This is a man totally concerned with appeasing his donors - the constitution and the law are of little concern to him.

He will feel like he has not violated the oath of office because he was never elected but appointed. That will be his defence if and ever he is impeached... 'I was never legally President.'

Here you go again with your anti-Bush remarks. The only thing Bush did to violate his oath was to not be aggressive enough with the anti-freedom liberal Democrats.

we'll have to wait for if/when the investigations are underway. we do know he lies with every smirk of his duplicitous mouth. we do know he signs signing statements that declare him above the law of the land which is why some of these folks can say "none". we do know that he instituted surveillance on American citizens without a warrant (even tho warrants can be gotten 3 days after the fact). we do know he lied and misrepresented the facts concerning the supposed "immanent danger" posed by Iraq. we do know that he has instituted "secret renditions" of terrorist SUSPECTS to foreign countries that employ torture. we do know that he has made torture legal in our military prisons. we do know that he has done away with habeous corpus and undermined the separation of church and state with his "faith based" programs. we do know he had close ties to Abramoff (which he lied about).

and that's just some the nasty stuff we know about.

I say 0 but if you have proof please help me to see the light. I don't want any assumptions from you and if you quote someone else or give examples please also give references and what part of his oath it violates. I hear this crap over and over but none has provided any documented cases of wrong doing but instead just opinions of what they think "Should be illegal". Give me straight facts not speculation and also don't use the bad Intel crap because he doesn't gather Intel he only uses what is presented to him.
