I had a tummy tuck a year and a half ago, including tightening of the abdominal muscles. My stomach will barely stretch now when doing yoga, because my plastic surgeon removed SO much skin. At the time he recommended that I do not have any more children, but to my surprise, and against all odds, I just found out that I am pregnant again. Will my baby grow properly if my stomach wil not stretch? Do I risk tearing my muscles or skin? I honestly don't think there is any way my skin could possibly stretch enough with out my stomach ripping right open. Has anyone had a baby after a tuck with muscle tightening, any advice?

RE: How soon can I have a lipo or tummy tuck after having baby via c-section? Has anyone ever done a tummy tuck immediately after delivering their baby via -c-section. I am planning on having my third and I am assuming it may be another c-section like my first 2 so I wanted to have a tummy tuck right after the procedure. Any advise. Is it safe? Sounds crazy but doesn't...

My mom had the same problem and the ob/gyn told her that was very risky to keep the baby. She kept my brother anyway, she had a c-section and they did another abdominal plastic keeping her in the operating room for 5 hours, the abdominal wall teared again so they had to reconstruct it right away. The baby was healthy and now he's 17!
Talk to the plastic surgeon and yr obgyn..the best luck to u mommy!

Call the dr. and ask. Too bad that nice tummy tuck will be out the window. Congrats anyway.
