The photo of Muhammad Ali standing over a KO'd Sonny Liston. It stands as the iconic image of the "Greatest Of All Time". For those who love Ali it is a image of the greatest at his best, the pinnacle of the athletic showman.

Like as in a photograph? There is a great phot of Bobby Thompson touching home plate after hitting the "shot heard round the world". It shows the upside of victory. He is surrounded by his team and thus surrounded by glory. In the same phot Ralph Branca walks away from the pitchers mound after just giving up the home run. His head is hung low. His team mates are walking away from him, the feild, and the game for the last time that season. It shows complete defeat and loss. This photo captures the essence of all sports. Victory and defeat can be seen in one photo.
