I am on the NuvaRing birth Contol... It fell out about a week before I was supose to take it out, My hubby and I have been having sex daily since then... It took about 5 days to get my period. when I got it, I only bleed for about 3 days... We did have sex once during that time... I was really light that day tho... Then after that I had NOTHING... Not even spotting... Usually, when I get my period on this BC, I bleed all the way until I put the new one in... Could I be pregnant? I have an apt to get a pap next week, my concern is, is when I put my new one in on Sunday, if I am pregnant, will it affect the baby? Or cause me to miscarriage??

Have the dr. give you a pregnancy test. tell him your concern. Do not put anything in until you are sure you aren't pregnant. Good luck...

If you don't want to go to the doc early, try a home pregnancy test. You need to be sure before you use any birth control that you are not pregnant because it could possibly affect the baby.

possible pregnacy and the use of BC is nothing to play around with, make an emergency appointment with your OB/GYN
