regardless of how a question is phrased, if it involves race, people get all bent out of shape. {i am not referring to only my previous questions, but other ones i have seen as well.} why is it considered so wrong to talk about race?

because people are too scared and sensitive and if people would talk about it more often there wouldn't be as much racism

Perhaps if you focused on the "real" issue and less on the race factor, you would get a more possitive response. People get offended by race because it's such an issue. If you are trying to make a point, leave color out of it. Each individual person is to blame for their actions. Race has nothing to do with it. Thank you and GOD bless.

Our societies today are far too multiracial. Anytime a legitimate question about race pops up, there are too many people with biases who show up.

IE. A person tries to discuss illegal immigration - a logical position (who wants to be swamped with people who speak a foreign language?) - but is instantly drowned by hundreds of people who ARE illegal immigrants - sort of invalidating their opinion (similar to taking opinions on the death penalty from inmates on Death Row).

Some people will never accept people of other races and do not want to have to think about everyone getting along. Others are simply sick of racial discussions.

People cant accept the fact that their race cant make it. The more sensitive they are about it, the harder it is for them to change and progress.

Its touchy because many people have been injured physically or mentally because of their race.

Some people obviously don't like themselves, or their own culture, and don't like being reminded that they are unique.

They project their own self-hate onto others, and they assume that everyone is making fun of them, because theu dislike themselves and they assume that you feel the same way about them as they do.

It's not what you say, it's how you say it. Besides people just tire of the same old race crap. Don't you?
