There have been two movies made of the book. However, both movies made major changes to the story and the characters, and your teacher will probably ask questions designed to trick you and find out if you only saw one of the films. You're better off to just read the book, even if you think it's dull as dishwater.

The book is very easy and fast to read. If you really want to miss out on the opportunity, look up "Criterion Collection DVD - Lord of the Flies" - it's the only way to find it now. DO NOT WATCH the 1990 version - it is SO vastly different from the book, you'll fail miserably.
Plus, if you post questions about it here, many of us who have read and enjoyed it would be able to help you undestand and enjoy it!

Better read the book. The test will be on the book, not the movie. The movie leaves a lot of stuff out.

There is a movie, but you should know that movies and books are sometimes VERY different. Maybe you should try a book on tape, or Cliff's Notes.
You can order the movie on DVD from amazon for $5.00 plus shipping and handling.

Yes, it does exist. Although I dont Think movies are a substitute for the book. That book is a great piece of literature.

The book is only like 100 pages. I would just read it.
Plus the movies are not as good. The Black and White one is slightly better, but they all leave out some important points.
Sorry. Good luck.

I think there's two of them. I saw the first one. It was pretty good.
