i'm only a freshmen so i don't really have to worry, but I still wanna know

Marquette University accepts 67.10% and NYU accepts 34.80%. You should check out the following link, the data is from 2004, but it is still a good estimate of acceptance rates. Also you can copy and past this list to Excel and sort the data in alphabetical order for better reference.

NYU would be harder to get into, however Marquette is still a fine school and produces excellent scholars as well. If you are deciding between those two, check out the areas. Both are in urban settings and fairly small, but you should see how the city and campus feels for you. NYU is a pretty liberal campus and Marquette is a Jesuit school I believe, so keep that in mind if religion is an issue for you.
