NHL rules:
15. f. In regular League and Playoff games, if both listed goalkeepers are incapacitated, that Team shall be entitled to dress and play any available goalkeeper who is eligible. This goalkeeper is eligible to sit on the player's bench, in uniform. No delay shall be permitted in taking his position in the goal, and he shall be permitted a two-minute warm-up. However, the warm-up is not permitted in the event a goalkeeper is substituted for a penalty shot.

(NOTE) In the event that the two regular goalkeepers are injured in quick succession, the third goalkeeper shall be provided with a reasonable amount of time to get dressed, in addition to a two-minute warm-up.

Assuming you mean both guys during the same game... one of the regular players has to suit up, unless you want to play without a goalie. By rules, you cannot bring in another player. The 20 guys on your sheet at the beginning of the game are all you get. The closest I've ever seen it come to happening, one of the injured goalies finished the game despite being hurt.

If it is NOT during the game, then you're free to bring up someone from the farm team!

If both goalies get hurt and are unable to play, the team would have to go with 6 regular players for the remainder of the game. Like when they pull the goalie at the end of games.

One of the extra players becomes a goalie for the rest of the game.

If they both get hurt then each team has someone designated to be the backup-backup goalie. When the backup gets hurt and the starter is already hurt then they usually cut the game to early intermission to allow the player to get the pads on and stuff. It'd be really cool to see it happen some time

Good research Craig. There you have it. I don't wanna say I hope goalies get injured but it would be interesting to see this happen some game. "Replacing Illya Bryzgalov in net will be Scott Niedermayer." LOL

i actually remember a while back during a sabres game, and i think it was against montreal, thier starter got hurt, and then later the back up had a problem and the announcer, (rick jeannerret) sorry for the spelling on the last name, said that another player, most liky a defenseman, would have to strap on the pads. so basically the coach picks a player, and sticks them in net.

a player chosen by the coach is put into net.

most often, it's a defensemen (or someone who played goalie before).
