well us vets , that get wounded in war like me ( 20 % disabled purple heart) need QUALITY care after war NOT what has been brought to light through the Washington Post latest investigation,
rats, mold, smelly bad conditions sad what do you thin, .what are your feelings ?

America has a long history of kicking our veterans to the curb, as I'm sure you know.

The CIC is fast and ready to send our young soldiers into harms way but when they return broken, they are ignored. It has always been this way.

One of my brothers was POW/MIA in Vietnam for 12 months...when he returned, he was in pieces. The only help he got was from the company he worked for before he was drafted. When he developed a brain tumor as the result of Agent Orange, the government denied and denied to him and others, that Agent Orange wasn't the problem. It took my brother 12 years to die at the age of 43. None of his bills were paid....he wasn't permitted to be treated at a Vets hospital....

They did, however, contribute 500.00 for his funeral when we buried him.

I was horrified by the reports on this. They may claim they didn't know it was that bad, but I don't believe it. Let's see if they actually DO anything about it or just wait for the story to die. It made me feel ashamed and it made me very very angry.
