I know this may seem like a very basic (somewhat stupid) question to all you women out there but I really don't know the answer. How do you calculate when your next 'due on'? Do you start counting the days from the START of your last period or the END of it? I've never had regular periods so am so confused.
Thank you for taking the time out to help me.

You count from the start of it. I have a 30 day cycle but the norm is 28 days but not all people are alike.

Go to http://www.mymonthlycycles.com and put in your period info and it will calculate when you will be fertile and ovulating plus it keeps tracks of your periods. It will even email you ahead of time to alert you of your upcoming fertile/ovulation and period dates. It is a free and very helpful website.

How Many Days Between Periods

2016-09-29 05:05:14 · answer #2 · answered by ? 4 · 0 0

hi there
You start counting from the first day of your period this is day one. You stop counting when you start the next period this is day one again .
There isnt really any normal limit as some people have 26 days or 28 days or 35 days between periods every woman is different but the common thing you are led to believe is that a regular cycle is 28 days and day 14 is ovulation day
If your really irregular it would be worth geting checked out by a dr to see if you have any problems such as pcos or an underactive thyroid as both of these conditions affect the regularity of your periods

between 23 and 30 days barely anyone is 28 days and start counting from the first day of your last period, keep a diary of your cycle and its about ten days from the end of your period you are at your peak but you can buy ovulation tests or visit your local gp for advice or type it into yahoo and find some ovulation charts

You should start by not wanting to get pregnant, just have sex everyday or every other day and don't think about getting pregnant, just have fun with your partner. Get more useful information and guides to get pregnant herehttps://tr.im/Z4c0l
after sex-put a pillow under your butt or prop your feet up on the wall so your pelvis is tilted
eat healthy
back off caffiene
workout, even if its just a 20 minute walk a day, be active.

If your periods are irregular then I don't think there is any way you can calculate when. But is it helps any at all I think you calculate from the start.

Day 1 is the first say of your period. You count from day 1of your period until the first day of your next period.

well it depends on how long your period lasts (because alot of people are irregular) but you normally count 28 days from the first day of your last period.
